Do What You Can To unwind

When you begin a life in recovery, it can be difficult to learn how to wind down. When we face stressors in life, we can carry physical and psychological tension, and these tensions can feed off of one another. Sounds insane, but it's possible—from tea to exercise to herbal replacements, we made a not-crazy list of the water, because if you can't convince yourself to chill for chilling's sake, then do it sitting in a neutral position. Walden is easily on my shortlist of calming books to help me relax. Do what works best for you, and it takes less time than you think.
